de Havilland Moth Club Charity Flying Weekend
Shuttleworth Trust, Old Warden
June 23, 2018
A brief photo-report
This was a pleasant event, it was free to get in, although the Shuttleworth collection hangars were not open. de Havilland Moth Club members had been invited to attend to fly passengers for some minutes each. The queue formed at least an hour before the first flight
For the photographer this was the opportunity to hone their low shutter speed panning skills on some wonderful vintage aircraft. For most of the images I was shooting at 1/60th second. The background to the images on this very quaint and historic airstrip are generally very good. The day also benefitted with some really nice weather. A very enjoyable day all round for those attending.
