The 1 Wing Historical Centre (1WHC) site is found adjacent to Beauvechain air base on land that I assume was once part of the air base itself including the pre 1940 former farm building. Beauvechain/Bevekom AB hosted between 1946 and 1996, six fighter squadrons flying; Spitfires, Mosquitos, Meteors, Hunter IVs, CF-100s, F-104Gs and F-16s. |

Dassault Mirage 5BR (BR 10). The Mirage Pilot Association (MPA) on September 28, 2024 presented the fully restored jet to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the last flight with the Belgian Air Force. It had been stripped down and repainted to its original condition with 1 Wing at Beauvechain. |
