Graham Revill a farmer acquired these aircraft some years ago because as he did not want to see them scrapped, out bidding scrap metal merchants at each Ministry of Defence auction.
He personally collected the retired jets in the 1990s from; RNAS Culdrose, RAF Valley, RAF Little Rissington, RAF Scampton, RAF Chivenor and RAF St Athan. Many years previously he developed a fascination for military test aircraft which were flown by the Telecommunications Flying Unit (TFU), later named the Radar Research Flying Unit (RRFU), which operated flight trials out of RAF Defford. This location is a private farm and should be respected as such. |
