Westland Lynx 3 (ZE477) Westlands built prototype. It was constructed with a stretched and thickened Lynx AH.1 fuselage design with a stengthened wheeled undercarriage. It made its maiden flight in June 1984 flying 100 hours of trials into 1985. With no forthcoming orders its final flight was made in March 1987 and its was transferred to The Helicopter Museum, at Weston-super-Mare, in June 1989. |
