|On the Road Again
|Valtion Lentokonetehdas (VL) Viima I (VI-1). A two-seat, biplane basic trainer flown by the Finnish Air Force from the late 1930s until the early 1960s. The prototype of VL Viima I took to the air for the first time on January 11, 1936. 20 aircraft were built for the Finnish Air Force. The example on display in its unique glass cabinet, is the prototype Viima delivered in 1939, it remained in service until 1953.
