On the road again..... Aircraft wrecks and relics found along the road side when travelling from base to base, museum to museum in the United States.

Terlingua Ranch, Texas. This is the most remote landing strip I have visited, a 16 miles dirt track from the main road just north of Big Bend National Park. A few weeks earlier Special Forces with OV-22 Osprey had used this strip.

Left to right: Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress (44-85738 'K') 'Preston's Pride'. It has been on display as part of the American Veterans Memorial outside Tulare since May 1958. Apparently it has twice been hit by vehicles, first in 1982 and again in 2003, but has been repaired each time.
