Turkish Air Force Museum (Hava Kuvvetleri Müzesi) Yesilköy, Istanbul, Turkey 2016

On the red carpet: A very impressive collection of former Turkish Air Force aircraft, most of which are displayed in the sun with a few of the older types displayed inside a modern building. Unfortunately my visit in May 2016 coincided with building works and for a reason that could not be explained to me 13 exhibits held in a seperate compound was off limits.

Yes, this museum is all about the Turkish Air Force
