A brief photo-report using scanned slides taken aboard USS John F Kennedy with CVW-8 (AJ) embarked, during its UK visit when moored in Stokes Bay which is between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight.
After nearly 40 years with the United States Navy, John F Kennedy was decommissioned on August 1, 2007. She is now at the NAVSEA inactive ships on-site maintenance facility in Philadelphia. |
