The supporting aircraft at Anatolian Eagle 2015
Numerous supporting aircraft were required for the large formations of fighters that were launched each day. Transport aircraft provided logistics, helicopters were used for liaison and CSAR operations. Tanker aircraft provided aircraft in the air with fuel and AWACS aircraft from NATO and Turkey provided pilots with valuable data. |
Flying each day was Turkish Air Force Boeing E-7T Peace Eagle 'Wedgetail' (13-001) named 'Kuzcy' from 131 Filo 'Dragon' based at Konya. |
