Left to right: Northrop F-5E Tiger II (J-3073) painted in a commemorative 2017 "Adios Vandalo" paint scheme. Flown by Fliegerstaffel 8 (Fighter Squadron 8), affectionately known as the "Vandalos," the jet received unique tail art to celebrate the squadron's final repetition course at Meiringen Air Base. Fliegerstaffel 8, formed in 1925, flew F-5Es starting in 1993. I have no idea why the base museum was giving it an airing.
